I am a statistician specializing in modeling spatial and spatio-temporal processes within a Bayesian framework. During my PhD in Biostatistics at McGill University, Montreal, Canada, under the supervision of Professor Alexandra M. Schmidt, I developed expertise in non-Gaussian spatial and spatio-temporal modeling.
My thesis focused on modeling data on their original scale and emphasizing the importance of accommodating non-Gaussian behavior so that a more intuitive representation of underlying processes is possible and prediction uncertainty can be better quantified.
My research interests include:
- Bayesian modeling and inference
- Spatial and spatio-temporal models
- Uncertainty quantification
- Spatial causal inference
